Family Reading and Science Workshop #2 Vital Signs: How Health Works
Saturday, February 18, 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.
Children ages 6-11, along with their parent or guardian, will learn about: Germs, Parasites and Allergies, Oh my! What makes us sick and what makes us well. We will look at what things make us sick and how our body protects itself. Pre-registration required.

Science for Tomorrow: What are STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) Careers
Saturday, February 25, 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.
Middle-school students identify STEM careers and the skills needed, and adult role-models. Students will brainstorm ways to overcome barriers and achieve their 'dream careers.'
